General grants of the City of Kuopio

The City of Kuopio allocates yearly funding in the city’s budget to support the civic activities of its residents. The City of Kuopio awards discretionary grants to associations that are domiciled in Kuopio or that will use the grant in the city of Kuopio.

General Grants for the Well-being Promotion Service Area for 2025 are open for applications from 16 December 2024 to 31 January 2025.

The application process uses an electronic service (only in Finnish). Users of the service can see the forms they have submitted to the city and track the progress of their application.

Electronic identification is done via Suomi.fi login, which requires personal bank credentials.
