General notification procedure
A general notification procedure in accordance with the Environmental Protection Act has been decreed for animal shelters, sawmills, shooting ranges, chemical stores and certain other activities and functions. In some cases, the above activities and functions require an environmental permit. The general notification procedure differs from the existing procedures of the Environmental Protection Act, for example with regard to documents required for initiating proceedings.
The matter concerning the activities to be transferred to the new notification procedure is initiated by the authority with a notification instead of an application for a permit.
