We offer guidance and advice to immigrants and help them integrate to Kuopio and Finland. We also provide services to international students! We work together with several different actors.

Guidance and advisory services for immigrants
Our service is intended for all immigrants in Kuopio, Lapinlahti and Tuusniemi, regardless of the reason for moving to the region or residence permit status. We provide low-threshold guidance and advice based on multidisciplinary collaboration.
We’re here to offer guidance and advice on any issue, big or small.

Our initial integration services are intended for refugees, persons who have been granted a residence permit through the asylum process, and those arriving in Finland through family reunification. In addition, we assist those moving to the municipality under temporary protection.
Our employees receive quota refugees in Kuopio, help them settle in, and provide assistance in arranging their living conditions.

The immigration councellors at International House Service Desk guide you to services to help you find employment and education. TyöNavigaattori’s services are also available for internationals and are free of charge.
