In the training trial, you can familiarise yourself with an educational institution and programme that interests you if you are a client of the TE Office or local government pilot.
The training trial can help you if you feel unsure about your vocational field and want to specify your study plans before applying for a programme. During the training trial, you will gain a better understanding of the programme and its general professional requirements. At the same time, you will become more equipped to determine whether the field in question is suitable for you.

Education and training
-
An apprenticeship is a fixed-term employment relationship that you conclude with your educational provider and workplace. The provider of the apprenticeship implements the agreed arrangements and is responsible for creating the curriculum together with other parties.
The apprenticeship agreement allows you to complete any upper secondary-level degree or its parts, including vocational qualifications and specialist vocational qualifications and their parts. In other words, it allows you to train at the workplace, learn new things, and gain work experience. Your studies will be complemented by theoretical studies completed at the educational institution and online. Apprenticeship training is usually free of charge, and any work you perform will be paid in accordance with the collective agreement for the sector.
Apprenticeships are available to all those aged 15 or over. If you are a client of the TE Office or the local government pilot, ask you personal expert whether you are eligible for a pay subsidy for the duration of your apprenticeship.
-
As a client of the TE Office or local government pilot, you may be entitled to an unemployment benefit for full-time self-motivated study. Self-motivated studies refer to education that is provided by an educational institution that decides on its admission.

Are you looking for a job, but you lack the proper training and are reluctant to spend years studying for a degree?
In RekryKoulutus recruitment training, you will acquire the competence needed by your employer and be employed by the organisation at the end of your training period. The training is implemented in cooperation between the TE Services and employers. They combine theoretical studies completed in an educational institution and practical on-the-job learning in the company providing the training.
The training is aimed at jobseekers who are suitable for the job and motivated to train in the field. Some recruitment trainings require prior expertise. However, in most trainings, the candidate will start from the basics without the need for any prior competence. For example, if you have recently graduated or are planning to return to working life after your parental leave, recruitment training may be the best option for you.
