Puijonnokka lean-to

Puijonnokka viewpoint is located on Julkulanmäki, which is part of the magnificent Puijo recreational area. At the northern end of the area, below the Puijonsarvi outdoor path, a landscape opening has been made towards the North Kallavesi archipelago. The building materials of the lean-to built at the viewpoint come from windfalls collected from Puijo. The tree on the table made of mukura spruce grew at a distance of about 100 meters. The lean-to is right next to the outdoor road and is easiest to reach from the end of Puijonsarpi, along the outdoor path/walking track made at the edge of the ski trail from the statue of Aaro Jalkanen. The distance is less than a kilometer.

Equipment: lean-to, campfire site, compost toilet and shed

Accessibility

In summer, there is an accessible lean-to and outhouse. You can drive your car all the way to your destination with a disabled ID.
