City of Kuopio donates rose petals 24.10.2024 – come and get yours

City of Kuopio is donating about 300 perennial rose bush rhizomes to residents. You can pick up your own rhizome from the grass area below the Valkeisenpuisto Park`s rose garden on Thursday 24.10.2024 between 14 and 16 or as long as there are enough plants.

The bare-root seedlings are already lifted onto the tarpaulin. Self-service pick-up. However, the intention is that each person will take only one rhizome, so that as many people as possible can get their own plant. The provider’s staff will be on hand to guide you through the process.
