Kuopiorock programme is ready: headliners are The Prodigy and KISS legend Gene Simmons Band

Kuopiorock has released the daily programme for next summer’s festival, which will be held on 25-27 July 2024.
The festival will feature nearly 40 artists on four different stages. Green festival landscape of Park Väinölänniemi will be full of Finnish and international rock stars. Headlining the festival will be British heavy machine music giant The Prodigy and KISS legend`s solo band Gene Simmons Band. The Prodigy will headline Friday’s festival, culminating in Saturday’s Gene Simmons Rock and Roll Evening, where the rocker will also perform songs from his former band KISS.

On Thursday, Happoradio, Lost Society and Dingo will perform, on Friday Maija Vilkkumaa and on Saturday Stratovarius, Atomirotta and Popeda. Among the previously announced artists, on Thursday we can expect to see rock classics Apulanta, Swedish melodic metal, pop and electro combo Amaranthe, Blind Channel. On Friday we will see the monster band Lordi, Kotiteollisuus and super group JJYLLI & KUOPPIS – MUSIC OF KINGSTON WALL. Saturday includes Turmion Kätilöt, who will be performing at Kuopiorock for the 20th time, Suburban Tribe and Eppu Normaali.
